This is the viral TikTok sensation that you need to try! It’s a mashup of two comfort food faves—pasta and French onion soup—all in one pot. Ingredients
12 lb (225 g)
uncooked rigatoni, about 3 cups
3 cups
low-sodium broth, your choice
2 tbsp
package (one or another):
Toasted OnionToasted Onion
1 tbsp
balsamic vinegar
14 cup
half and half cream (10%)
14 cup
grated Gruyère cheese

Preparation
  1. In Sauté Pan over medium-high heat, add rigatoni, broth, dip mix, and vinegar.
  2. Cover; cook 14–16 min, stirring occasionally, or until pasta is al dente. Reduce heat to medium if liquid is bubbling too vigorously. 
  3. If pasta is not cooked within 16 min, add a bit more broth, cover, and cook an additional 1–2 min. If there is too much water left over when the pasta is done, uncover and cook a few more minutes to let excess liquid evaporate.
  4. Remove from heat, stir in cream and cheese until cheese is melted.
